Ge Luz

Talented Brazilian singer Ge Luz released his first solo album “Momento" in 2013, and his second album “Canto Pra Dois”, in 2017.

Ge has been performing since 2003, and can offer a variety of lineups from solo performance through to 6 piece Brazilian band. His mix of bossa nova, samba and jazz covers the quintessential sounds of Brazil.

Ge Luz’s acoustic guitar and voice are an ideal way to entertain guests during canapes in the summer sunshine, or to set the mood with live music during dinner. Beautiful South American music is a welcome change to the well worn classic pop songs most acoustic musicians offer, and goes perfectly with a glass of champagne.

Whether performing solo, or as a duo with accompanying percussionist, Ge offers chilled out, romantic music for any occasion.

Blue Steel were a great choice of entertainment for our Annual Excellence Awards. They were professional and a pleasure to deal with – and provided a great soundtrack for our evening of celebration. We really enjoyed the wedding and were very happy with the band! We got so many comments also from our guests how good the artists were. The song choice was great and they performed amazingly well. On our side, not a lot went according to plan for the day due to the cyclone effects :) and the running order had to be adapted. But the band did an amazing job and was really accommodating and contributed to our very special day.

I would like to say a massive thank you to the band, Blue Steel. Our wedding band could honestly not have been better. It was a grueling hot summer’s day and the air con at our venue was playing up but the band continued playing throughout the night. Most guests spilled out of the venue at around 10.30pm but they kept going (we could hear them outside)!! It is honestly like listening to something at a concert. The number of compliments we received regarding the band was unbelievable. They were worth every cent! Sam met with us before the wedding to talk about how they normally do things. He is an excellent person to have in terms of organising your big day. We will absolutely recommend them to anyone else looking for a band for any event. If you just wanted a piano player as well you could go with Matt who is incredible. Thank you so much for making our day all the more magical.
